Goo1Bot

Hi. I don't know if this is the right place to report some mistakes. Goo1Bot is doing some additions to Zootopia (Q15270647) that aren't correct. When I correct them, the bot write them again. Goo1Bot adds Brad Simonsen (Q24574619) and John Lasseter (Q269214) as producer (P162), but the first is "co-producer" and the second is "executive producer". Also adds six screenwriter (P58), but they are credited as "story by" instead "screenplay by". --Escudero (talk) 10:04, 18 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

Okay, thanks for the reply, I will stop it, check the script and change the mistaces. Actually, there is no Co-Producer in WD only producer (P162). But I will add the executive producer (P1431) aditionally. Should I write Co-Producer in qualifiers??? Can you write me the Property for "story by" actually it seems there is only "screenplay by" screenwriter (P58)?!?

In producer (P162) says that "producer(s) of this film or music work (film: not executive producers, associate producers, etc.)", so I understand that "co-producer" shouldn't be there. I personally prefer put all types of producers in the same property with qualifiers informing roles (even executive producer), but it's a particular thinking, and more discussion would be required. About "story by", it's the same case. New property? In "screenplay by" with qualifiers? Maybe participants of Wikiproject Films can help. --Escudero (talk) 21:53, 19 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

The bot still added short imdb IDs with some of its most recent edits, e.g. [1], [2], [3]. Please note that imdb accepts any URL with tt prefix and less than 7 digits, but simply fills it up with the missing zeroes then (so tt1 will work for the user just as good as tt0001, but both redirect to tt0000001 - we cannot add all these variants, though; and imdb also accepts completely invalid IDs this way, e.g. tt0). • The Script of goo1bot provides the ability to correct mistaces directly. In this case we do not set the bot flag. But its not possible to log in to wikidata API with 2 accounts while the script is running. Maybe they change that in future.

Der Bot nahm an, dass es sich hier um 2 Personen handelt, da mehrere doppelte IDs vorlagen, was eine Eindeutigkeit ausschließen lässt. Wenn beim ersten schon alle IDs korrekt eingetragen gewesen wären, wäre es zu dieser Dopplung nicht gekommen. Kann es sein, dass der erste "Andreas Martin" falsch gewählt war oder hier ID Probleme vorliegen?

Our team (about 10 programmers) and supporters are trying hard to get a bugfree and good freebase-import and Data-Improve-Bot. Our source-code is completly free on github and we provide others an easy and reliable OOP-Wikidata-Classset. How long will it take to get a bot-flag? Why do you mention in the manuals and ads that automatic-scripts are welcome and then block the piloted-testing process? Beim coden hatte ich nur gesehen, dass documentary film (Q93204) gerne für instance of (P31) genommen wird und documentary (Q4164344) ausdrücklich als genre (P136) angegeben ist. Bitte füge keine Bezeichnungen in der Sprache no hinzu, wie zB. hier. no is kein Sprachcode auf Wikidata. Verwende stattdessen nb für norwegisch bokmål oder nn für norwegisch nynorsk. --Pasleim (talk) 14:26, 29 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

Can you check if already exist item with the same IMDb id before create new item? ex. 28 of sep. you have created Fred Ott's Sneeze (Q27043446), 1 of oct. you have created the same movie Fred Ott's Sneeze (Q27058618) but the problem was that the item of the movie already exist: Fred Ott's Sneeze (Q1128535) If you can't do this check I suggest you don't create other item about movies. Second thing: you add short id of IMDb (like "tt1") but it's wrong, the id must be long 9 chars.
