Brazilian Sign Language codes

edit

hi,

I am curious what these sequences refer to:

M523x537S15a40509x510S15a48479x510S26700507x463S26710477x463
M523x537S15a40509x510S15a48479x510S26700507x463S26710477x463 (L585150)

Unfortunately all sequences are all labelled with mis, so I wouldn't know how to research it 😅🤷. Is it related to SignWriting (Q1497335)?--Loominade (talk) 18:59, 22 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

Please do not use the script yet

edit

Hi, please do not use my script yet. As pointed out by an administrator on my talk page it adds unnecessary statements and needs to be reworked. 0xDeadbeef (talk) 15:56, 4 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

Igbo lexemes

edit

please I want to create same lexeme with same spellings and pronounciation but different meaning[. okike=share][okike=nature]. can i create them as Homograghn or should i create them separately, though one already exist. Akwugo (talk) 08:52, 26 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

@Akwugo: Hi. Yes, they need to be separate, like agba (L527195) ("color") and agba (L622905) ("jaw"). But, keep in mind that they could be in the same lexeme if their meanings were somewhat related, like "hand", "finger" and "handle" in aka (L524839). Enaldodiscussão 22:56, 28 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
Alright, thanks i have seen your example on agba and will go with that. Akwugo (talk) 02:35, 29 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

Tupi

edit

Hey, Enaldo. If you create new lexemes in Tupi, I kindly ask you to use w:pt:Dicionário de Tupi Antigo as a source. For instance, ibakatí (L907854), iwá (L907855), ka'ti (L907856) and kari'oka (L907860) are clearly not Tupi. Iwá may indeed be Nheengatu, but the rest I simply cannot figure it out. Best regards, RodRabelo7 (talk) 06:45, 3 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

Same with kari (L907863). Carioca actually comes from kariîó + oka. Carijós formed a Guarani tribe which lived in what is now Rio de Janeiro. RodRabelo7 (talk) 06:48, 3 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
@RodRabelo7: Ok. Thank you for notifying me. I found iwaka'ti and kari'oka on Infopédia (1, 2), and added them in order to link abacaxi (L907853) and carioca (L661419) to some etymon, after seeing them in Wiktionary as well (1, 2). I'm gonna check it out and be more cautious. Enaldodiscussão 11:32, 4 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

Pronunciation audios - WIkidata Lexemes Ideas

edit

Hi Enaldo. I was going through possible ideas which I could develop a tool to help the Wikidata community of editors and I stumbled on one of your ideas concerning adding likely pronunciation audios from Commons to lexemes forms. I have started with the conception of this tool and I believe we can talk a little more about the implementation if you still watch that idea. Eugene233 (talk) 15:54, 10 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

@Eugene233: Thanks for considering my idea, Eugene! What do you have in mind? I am not into code, but I probably could help giving suggestions. Enaldodiscussão 23:23, 26 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Duplicate lexemes?

edit

Hi,

Could you have a look at M520x515S10e02490x500S22720480x486 (L585148) and (L626833)? It looks like it's the same lexeme, no?

Cheers, VIGNERON (talk) 12:14, 15 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

Yes! Thank you XD. Enaldo(discussão) 12:27, 15 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

Your edit to sex or gender (Q18382802)

edit

I just reverted an edit you made to the item sex or gender (Q18382802). The claim feels dubious to me and statement supported by (P3680)scholarly literature (Q68200780) does not make sense in this context. If there is scholarly literature that supports the statement, add it as a reference. Kinsio (talkcontribs) 16:24, 21 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
