I've visited newgrounds for many many years, but this is my first comment.
I want to explain my ratings, for the few (if any) who come to my profile for any reason.

I feel people here rate the animations too high. I'm sorry to say, but few animations provide epic emotion outbursts.
I agree with the 5 star rating comments. I mean, the:
0-> blam this piece of crap
1-> this makes poop look good
2-> nothing new or interesting
3-> not bad, in fact I like it
4-> this flash is crunck, fo' shizzle
5->WOOT! ALL MY 5 R BELONG TO THIS!

I mean to say that I therefore shall rate as it says. I hate when a a-little-bit-of-fun animation is rated 4.20 and a deep, interesting, original, moving, epic animation is rated 4.30.

People, rate better. You undermine good animations when you rate only-good 10/10 5/5.

To me, most animations should be rated 2.5~3.5.
And I am not saying anyone should stop animating. Please, keep doing and keep improving!
But think about this: if the difference in votes of your awesome animation to your shitty animation is too low, how would you feel?
I'd feel I lost my time improving my skills.

So, rate wise, and lower 'dem scores!
(so that only really good animations get anything higher then 4!)
