Supellex
Supellex (-lectilis, f, vocabulum numero plurali caret) est instrumentum domesticum ad usum hominis dicata.
Latius supellex in Digestis definitur. Supellex est domesticum familiae instrumentum, quod neque argento aurove facto vel vesti adnurneratur (Dig. ΧΧΧΙΙΙ 10, 1; "De supellectile legata"). Supellectile legata (ibid. 3), continentur mensae, trapezophora, delphica, subsellia, scamna, lecti inargentati, culcita, toralia, mappae villosae, vasa aquaria, pelves, aquiminaria, candelabra, lucernae, trullae; item vasa ahenea, vitrea et fictilia escaria et potoria.
Sed saepius supellex omne genus vasorum et instrumentorum ad cibos praeparandos ac ministrandos nominatur.
