Neoclassicismus (Graece νέος + Latine classicus + Graece ισμός[2]) est motus culturae Occidentalis in artibus ornantibus et oculorum atque in litteris, theatro, musica, et architectura qui ex classica Graeciae antiquae et Romae antiquae arte et cultura excitatus est. Principalis motus neoclassicus cum Aetate Illuminationis saeculo duodevicensimo congruit, et in saeculum undevicensimum iniens persistitit, deinde cum Romanticismo certans. In architectura, hoc genus per saecula undevicensumum et vicensimum et adeo in vicensimum primum persistitit.
