Therapsida sunt ordo synapsidum qui mammalia et eorum maiores recte evolutionarios comprehendit. Primum fossile ad Therapsida attributum habetur Tetraceratops insignis ex Aevo Permiano.[1][2] Therapsida ex pelycosauria, diserte ex sphenacodontibus, abhinc annorum 275 milliones evolverunt.
