La stagione 2024-2025 degli Anaheim Ducks è la 32ª stagione della franchigia nella National Hockey League (NHL).

Il rebranding

Durante la offseason 2024, gli Anaheim Ducks intraprendono un vero e proprio rebranding della franchigia, con un nuovo logo chiaramente ispirato alle origini della squadra quando erano di proprietà della Disney Corporation e si chiamavano Mighty Ducks of Anaheim.[1][2] Unica differenza rimangono i colori, che richiamano la Orange County.[3] Il vecchio logo, che richiama l'impronta della zampa di un'anatra, rimane come logo secondario e viene posto sulle spalle delle nuove divise della squadra.[4]

Diritti televisivi

Alla fine di agosto 2024, i Ducks annunciano che non avrebbero rinnovato il loro accordo con la Bally Sports SoCal & West e la diretta affiliata di quest'ultima, il Diamond Sports Group, detentore dei diritti televisivi delle partite dei Ducks in California. La decisione è stata presa dopo la richiesta di fallimento per bancarotta della Diamond Sports del 14 marzo 2023.[5] I Ducks si sono quindi legati (con un accordo biennale) con Victory+, una piattaforma di streaming legata alla A Parent Media Company e che già trasmette a livello locale le partite dei Dallas Stars. Un totale di 65 partite dei Ducks trasmesse da Victory+ (non in contemporanea trasmesse da TNT, ESPN o dai loro network televisivi associati) saranno in contemporanea trasmesse nella California meridionale anche dal network KCOP-TV.[6][7]
