Abstract
En 2002, la zone euro a connu une faible croissance du PIB et de la consommation ainsi qu'une forte baisse de l'investissement. Des facteurs exogènes tels que le risque de guerre en Irak expliquent en partie une telle situation. On pourrait mieux expliquer les difficultés de l'an passé en prêtant une attention particulière aux évolutions des marchés d'actifs qui annoncent une conjoncture difficile en 2003 voire en 2004 malgré la fin de la guerre en Irak.
