Abstract
Les défenseurs de l'écologie et des valeurs environnementales ont créé et développé de nombreuses organisations non gouvernementales ; elles se sont souvent exprimées aussi dans le domaine politique. Elles se présentent comme des lanceurs d'alerte. Parmi les plus intéressantes, il faut retenir les Amis de la Terre, Terre des Hommes, Le Fonds Nicolas Hulot, Réseau Climat, SOS Sahel, Greenpeace, WWF (the world Wildlife Fund), Surfride Foundation, Mountain Wildeness et le GRET (Groupe de recherche et d'échanges technologiques).
