Chili: Secteur de materiaux de construction

Abstract
En ce qui concerne le secteur de la construction, l'Institut National de Statistiques du Chili estime que les mises en chantier devraient connaitre une augmentation moyenne de 5 % par an jusqu'a la fin de la decennie, stimulant ainsi la demande pour les materiaux de construction. La concurrence domestique et etrangere est intense en raison des politiques liberales du gouvernement chilien. Neanmoins, les produits importes accaparaient environ 20 % de ce marche en 1995 et, selon la Societe canadienne d'hypotheques et de logement, la demande pour les produits canadiens se chiffre a environ 12 % du marche des produits importes.
