Abstract
Este trabajo fundamentalmente descriptivo trata de establecer los principales hechos y datos de la integración económica en el Magreb y de cada uno de los países que la componen. Para ello, se ofrece una descripción de las economía de los cinco países que integran el Magreb (Argelia, Libia, Marruecos, Mauritania y Túnez), con especial énfasis en el análisis del comercio y los flujos financieros (tanto con el resto del mundo como en las relaciones bilaterales entre dichos países), con el fin de establecer patrones de especialización y dependencia que ilustren las ganancias mutuas de una integración y cooperación más intensas que acreciente el potencial económico de la región y sus miembros y sus implicaciones para España y la Unión Europea en su conjunto..
