Los sures de Barranquilla: La distribución espacial de la pobreza

Abstract
En este trabajo se presenta el perfil de la pobreza de las ciudades de Barranquilla y Soledad, a nivel de barrio. Utilizando mapas de pobreza, se muestra la distribución espacial de la población pobre, de los logros educativos, de la informalidad, de la pertenencia étnica y de los inmigrantes en estas dos ciudades. Dentro de los resultados vale destacar que se encontró una concentración de población pobre, de bajos resultados educativos y de altos niveles de informalidad en las localidades Suroccidente y Suroriente de Barranquilla.
