Abstract
La presente obra constituye a la vez una guía de aprendizaje y de referencia sobre el correcto uso de la econometría como herramienta de análisis empírico. El texto adopta un enfoque eminentemente práctico, acompañado de numerosos ejemplos y consejos útiles acerca de cómo proceder a lo largo del proceso de confección de un modelo econométrico. Se muestra la manera más apropiada de formular un modelo econométrico inicial, así como el modo de detectar y corregir los principales problemas estadísticos que pueden deteriorar la validez de sus conclusiones y predicciones.
