Abstract
The book describes the results of a study carried out by Damian Hannan, Research Professor (ESRI, now retired), Selina McCoy, Research Officer (ESRI), and Audrey Doyle (former Research Assistant, ESRI). This study was funded by the Department of Education and Science. The study looked at the change in further education for school leavers who did not immediately go on to third level education.
