El robo a casa habitacion en Monterrey, Nuevo leon. ¿Un problema de localizacion?

Abstract
Utilizando datos por vivienda de la Encuesta sobre victimizacion y Violencia aplicada en las areas metropolitanas de Monterrey, Guadalajara y leon en 2009, y datos agregados por AGEB del Conteo de poblacion y Vivienda 2005, este trabajo investiga el efecto de la localizacion sobre la probabilidad de que una vivienda sea victima de robo, despues de controlar por las caracteristicas propias de la vivienda y de sus habitantes. Los principales resultados sugieren que las condiciones del vecindario y en menor medida las condiciones de los vecindarios cercanos son determinantes significativos de la probabilidad de que una vivienda sea robada.
