Augmentarea spatiului urban – perceptie si interactiune sociala

Abstract
Termenul de spatiu augmentat a fost inventat de Lev Manovich in 2002, definindu-l drept un spatiu fizic peste care se suprapune un schimb dinamic de informatie. Augmentarea spatiilor se intalneste acum la diverse scari (de la smartphones la fatadele media) si cu predilectie in mediul urban. Fie ca avem de a face cu panouri publicitare de mari dimensiuni (integrate sau nu intr-o cladire) sau cu mici experimente artistice, peisajul urban primeste o infuzie cu media digitala, generand noi interactiuni si producand noi tipuri de spatii sociale.In aceasta lucrare sunt discutate exemple notabile de augmentari in spatiul urban, punand in discutie efectele produse de aceste interventii, dar si masura in care aceste hibridizari ale spatiului pot imbunatati calitatea vietii si interactiunea sociala. Lucrarea isi propune sa arate marea varietate de abordari si modul in care augmentarea spatiilor poate raspunde la diverse probleme actuale de la formarea de identitati si repere la aspecte de constientizare a populatiei, de sustenabilitate, de socializare, reintegrare si de conservare a patrimoniului construit.
