Abstract
Environment friendly and green products are built on the foundation of green manufacturing companies. When it comes to adopting and enforcing renewable manufacturing standards through SMEs, most manufacturing industries face a variety of challenges. The regeneration of manufacturing processes and the implementation of environmentally friendly operations in the industrial sector are both examples of green technology. A number of studies have been undertaken in this area of green manufacturing, and researchers have recommended various elements that affect the manufacturing process; however, no studies exist that show how and in what order these elements must be adopted by manufacturing organisations. This study is unique in that it identifies the factors with the help of MCDM approach's that drive green manufacturing and suggests the steps that manufacturing companies should take to become green manufacturing organisations and, as a result, will be capable for producing green and environment friendly products.
