Nexus among natural resources and mineral resource on green economic growth: Empirical evidence from China

Abstract
This study focuses on the relationship between natural and mineral resources within green economic growth. It examines empirical evidence from China's development from 2006 to 2022 using Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA). This study has following findings: (1) a strong positive correlation between the abundance of natural resources and the growth of an environmentally friendly economy, highlighting the potential of natural resources for sustainable development. (2) the crucial role of effective utilization of mineral resources in promoting green growth, emphasizing the significance of responsible extraction and management practices. (3) the continued existence of regional disparities in resource utilization and green growth, emphasizing the necessity for focused policies. Based on these connections, the study suggests policy implications supporting cleaner technologies, responsible management practices, and regional cooperation to enhance resource efficiency.
