Kurz zum Klima: Blockchain – Potenziale und Herausforderungen für den Strommarkt

Abstract
Die voranschreitende Digitalisierung führt in vielen Sektoren zu einer verstärkten Einbindung von Haushalten und dadurch zu neuen dezentralen Softwareanwendungen. In der Energiewirtschaft, insbesondere im Stromsektor, verlangt zusätzlich der kontinuierliche Ausbau dezentraler Erzeugungseinheiten nach einer verbesserten Koordination von regionalem Angebot und Nachfrage. In diesem Zusammenhang gilt die Blockchain-Technologie als vielversprechende Technologie, die lokale Handelsflüsse bzw. Transaktionen effizienter abwickeln kann.
