Pandemia COVID‑19 z perspektywy finansów – przenikanie się świata realnego i wirtualnego

Abstract
Masowe szczepienie ludności w części krajów świata oraz przewaga w tych krajach liczby osób, które wyzdrowiały, nad liczbą tych, które zachorowały, pozwala tam z wolna dzielić czas na przed i po pandemii COVID‑19. Ten dualizm wzmocnił społeczny podział na rzeczywistość realną i wirtualną. W odczuciu wielu osób nastąpiło naruszenie równowagi między tymi rzeczywistościami. Celem artykułu jest wskazanie na mechanizmy prowadzące do trwałej hybrydyzacji naszej codzienności („nowa normalność”). We wprowadzeniu autorzy systematyzują kontekst, w którym dokonuje się podział ludzkości na zaszczepioną i niezaszczepioną. W punkcie pierwszym przywołują inżynierię tokenów jako metodę przenoszenia aktywów ze świata realnego w wirtualny. W punkcie drugim przypominają finansjalizację jako drogę do uzyskania trwałej przewagi przez świat finansów nad gospodarką realną. Jest to zarazem odejście od całościowych więzi społecznych na rzecz relacji zdalnych, w tym za pośrednictwem pieniądza. W punkcie trzecim autorzy wskazują na technologię blockchain jako mostu (infrastruktury) do dwukierunkowego oddziaływania obu rzeczywistości. W punkcie czwartym pokazują, jak hazard czy spekulacja z udziałem dóbr prestiżowych zapewnia przenoszenie aktywów pozyskanych w świecie wirtualnym do ich wykorzystania w świecie realnym. Zakończenie przypomina tezę opracowania, że zacieranie granic między rzeczywistością realną i wirtualną w czasie pandemii doprowadziło do trwałej hybrydyzacji naszej codzienności.
