Die Auswirkung der Forschungs- und Technologiepolitik auf die Innovationsaktivitäten ostdeutscher Unternehmen

Abstract
Ostdeutsche Unternehmen werden seit der deutschen Wiedervereinigung bei staatlichen Subventionsprogrammen besonders berücksichtigt. Diese Studie untersucht die Auswirkungen der Forschungs- und Technologiepolitik auf die Innovationsaktivitäten von Unternehmen der neuen Bundesländer. Es stellt sich die Frage, ob die Teilnehmer der Fördermaßnahmen tatsächlich mehr in Innovationen investieren oder ob sie private Gelder gegen die öffentlichen Mittel substituieren. Zur Analyse verwende ich einen Matching?Ansatz. Es zeigt sich, dass die ostdeutschen Unternehmen ohne die Zuteilung der öffentlichen Gelder deutlich weniger Innovationsaktivitäten unternommen hätten.
