Vulnerabilidad Individual: Evolución, Diferencias Regionales e Impacto de la Crisis. Argentina 1995 – 2005. Un Análisis por Cohortes

Abstract
Bajo la concepción que la pobreza es un fenómeno multidimensional, en el presente trabajo se incorpora la dimensión ex–ante de la misma como la probabilidad de generar ingresos futuros menores a la línea de pobreza, bajo el concepto de vulnerabilidad. Se analiza la evolución de la vulnerabilidad en Argentina para el período 1995-2005 utilizando una metodología desarrollada por Bourguignon y Goh (2004). Se presentan distinciones regionales y por nivel educativo, y se analiza el efecto de la crisis. De los resultados se obtiene que la vulnerabilidad media refleja la evolución de la economía, que el nivel educativo tiene el efecto esperado y que existen diferencias regionales significativas. Finalmente, se observa que la vulnerabilidad media y la distribución completa de la vulnerabilidad individual aumentaron con la crisis de manera uniforme y que luego se inicia un período de recuperación.
