The purpose of the article was to seek answers about the existence of convergence of agricultural income for the Brazilian states, the period between 1991 and 2205, it was used for testing β- convergence and σ-convergence. The results suggest that there is a dependency between growth- rate of per capita agricultural income and its initial value, so that in general the less developed economies in the agricultural sector grow more than the most developed. Thus, the growth of per capita agricultural income would have acted positively to reduce disparities between states, the influence of factors specific inducers or policies directed to this behavior of convergence.
