Abstract
The main purpose of this paper is to determine whether Bulgarian households are a key agent in the use of the monitored resource groups. Interpreting their role in environmental impact is an important key point in this study.The analysis of secondary data on household expenditure by product groups and the consumption of basic resources are the main research tasks. The main method used hereis desk research. The following methods are used to analyze and evaluate the data collected: relative proportions of basic statistical indicators, time series analysis and deriving consumption trends.The research is funded by the Science Research Fund and is part of the 2019 scientific project Sustainable Urban Consumption -Regional Diversity.
