Austerity Policies: A Way to Escape from the Crisis?

Abstract
Austerity policies have been widely implemented after the financial crisis of 2008. The social and economic effects of austerity policies can be better understood in the light of global economic system. The existence of neo-liberal policies, financial deregulation and inequality in our world, austerity policies affect both developed and the developing countries differently. Therefore, the conceptualization of this well-known policies and the common critics of these policies will be given in this study.
