Ergebnisse der Sonderfragen im ifo World Economic Survey: Die Rahmenbedingungen für den Welthandel verändern sich

Abstract
Die WES-Sonderfragen für das zweite Quartal 2019 befassen sich mit dem Welthandel und der Globalisierung. Vor dem Hintergrund der laufenden Handelsstreitigkeiten zwischen den Vereinigten Staaten, China und der Europäischen Union wurden zwei Fragen gestellt: Welche Auswirkungen befürchten die Experten in ihrem eigenen Land? Werden Direktinvestitionen aus China anders als Direktinvestitionen aus anderen Ländern wahrgenommen? Die Ergebnisse zeigen, dass vor allem die Befragungsteilnehmer aus den Industrieländern von negativen Auswirkungen für ihre Volkswirtschaft aufgrund der anhaltenden Handelsstreitigkeiten ausgehen. Außerdem stehen sie Investitionen aus China kritischer gegenüber als aus anderen Ländern.
