Zur Ausgestaltung einer gesamtdeutschen Strukturförderung: Erfordernisse aus ostdeutscher Sicht

Abstract
Nachdem der Streit um die künftige Ausgestaltung der Bund-Länder-Finanzbeziehungen nach dem im Oktober gefundenen Kompromiss zwischen Bund und Ländern zumindest fürs Erste beigelegt zu sein scheint, rückt ein anderes Thema in den Vordergrund, nämlich wie die im Koalitionsvertrag der Bundesregierung vereinbarte "gesamtdeutsche Strukturförderung " für wirtschaftsschwache Regionen umgesetzt werden soll. Spätestens mit dem Auslaufen der aktuellen EU-Strukturfondsförderperiode 2020 wird es notwendig sein, die Regionalfördergebiete in Deutschland neu festzulegen.
