Alia Muhammad Baker ( {{Lang-ar|عالية محمد باقر} (1952 - 13 ga Agusta 2021) ma'aikacin laburare ne na Iraqi wanda shine babban ma'aikacin laburare na babban ɗakin karatu na Al Basrah a Basra. Baker ya ceci litattafai kimanin 30,000 daga halaka a lokacin yakin Iraki,ciki har da tarihin Muhammad daga wajen 1300.

Baker ya yi aiki a ɗakin karatu na tsawon shekaru 14.[1]Tun tana karama an ba ta labarin kona dakin karatu na Nizamiyya na Bagadaza kuma ta tsorata.

Yayin da yaki da Amurka da Birtaniya ke kara kunno kai,jami'an gwamnati sun ki amincewa da bukatar ta na a mayar da littattafan zuwa ga aminci. Lokacin da ofisoshin gwamnati suka shiga cikin ɗakin karatu kuma aka sanya bindigar jirage a rufin, ta fara kwashe littattafai daga ɗakin karatu.

Tare da 'yan Shi'a da ba sa goyon bayan gwamnatin Hussein, Basra na ɗaya daga cikin hare-haren farko da aka kai wa Iraki a shekara ta 2003 tun daga watan Nuwamba. Dakarun kawance sun fuskanci turjiya fiye da yadda ake tsammani. Galibin sojojin Amurka da suka mamaye sun koma arewa, inda suka bar birnin Basra karkashin mamayar makwanni da dama karkashin jagorancin turawan Ingila.[2]Ba da jimawa ba birnin ya fuskanci matsalar ‘yan adam’ inda mazauna garin suka rasa ruwa da wutar lantarki. [3]

Sojojin da suka mamaye (ciki har da Rundunar Sojan Sama ta Royal Australian )sun yi amfani da bama-bamai da yakin tunani a lokacin da aka kewaye.[4]Daga karshe dai, bama-baman na RAF sun lalata wani katon ginshikin tankunan yaki na kasar Iraki tare da kama fursunoni 300 a wani yaki a wajen birnin.[5][6]Sojojin Burtaniya sun mamaye birnin a ranar 6 ga Afrilu.[7]

Bayan da ma’aikatan gwamnati suka fice daga ginin tare da wawashe kayan dakin karatu, Baker ya shawo kan Anis Muhammad mai gidan abincin Hamdan ya taimaka. Baker ya nemi taimakon mutanen wurin don kwashe sauran littattafan a bangon ƙafa bakwai na ɗakin karatu da kuma cikin ɗakin cin abinci na gidan abincin da ke kusa. Kafin a lalata ɗakin karatu, Baker ya ceci kashi 70% na tarin ɗakin karatu: littattafai 30,000, gami da littattafan Ingilishi da Larabci da Kur'ani na yaren Sifen.

Baker da mijinta sun yi hayar babbar mota suka rarraba littattafan ga ma’aikatan ɗakin karatu, abokai, da nasu gidan bayan an daidaita su a Basra.An sake gina ɗakin karatu a cikin 2004 kuma an mayar da Baker a matsayin babban ma'aikacin ɗakin karatu.
