De Nafana be Senufo people wey dey live for de central north-west for Ghana den de north-east for Côte d'Ivoire, for de Bondoukou east area. Dem dey number about 45, 000 (SIL/GILLBT 1992) wey dem dey speak Nafaanra, Senufo language. Gur speakers surround dem for de north, de isolated Ligbi people wey dey speak Mande for de east, den de Abron wey dey speak Akan for de south.

De Nafana people dey claim say dem komot from Côte d'Ivoire, from village wey dem dey bell am Kakala.
