A Stardust Ring (スターダストリング, Stardust Ring^?) is a Ring-class piece of equipment found in Golden Sun: The Lost Age.

In Golden Sun: The Lost Age

The ring can be acquired by bringing a Star Dust to Sunshine the Blacksmith in Yallam, at which point he will forge it into one of several pieces of equipment chosen at random from a predetermined list. Among the items that can be made from Star Dust is a Stardust Ring, although it must still be bought from Sunshine after it is made.

Like most Rings in The Lost Age, the Stardust Ring does not provide any statistic boosts while equipped. Rather, it is Used as an item in battle (it does not need to be equipped to be used in this manner) to emulate the Bind Psynergy, which attempts to seal an opponent's Psynergy, although there is a chance it might break each time it is used.

Much like the Bind Psynergy it mimics, the Stardust Ring has a notoriously low success rate (55% by default, decreased by 3% for every two Luck on the target) and, as a result, is not very valuable (players who wish to inflict enemies with Psynergy Seals would be better off using Djinn such as Luff and Rime). In the earlier stages of the game, it would be advisable to save before giving Sunshine any Star Dust and, if a Stardust Ring is acquired, resetting the game to try getting a better item.
