Evaluation and analysis of drought using the SPI, SPEI and PDSI index
Quantifying drought sensitivity in coconut agriculture
Near Real-Time Drought Exposure: Case Study of the Central Region, Ghana
The "Drought Early Warning System's DataHub" (DEWS-DH) is a satellite datahub which is used to show and store satellite image data. Metrics like the NDVI or SMI are calculated on demand. The images are imported into a PostGIS database were they can be requested by third-party software for further processing.
This repo contains javascript code used in Google Earth engine to perform various Geospatial Data analysis tasks on satellite data. The code utilizes Google earth engines own archive of Satellite data.
Lesson materials for Module 2 (M2), "Open Climate Science for Agriculture"
This project employs R programming to compute the Standardized Precipitation Evapotranspiration Index (SPEI), a widely used drought index. SPEI calculations were conducted for Bahawalnagar District, Punjab, Pakistan.
Future Urban-Wildfire Risk Mapping (FUWRM), pronounced as "form". This repository holds the programming script files and some of the binaries that represent the predictive risk maps for wildfires in urban regions of Southern Victoria (AUS) and Northern California (USA) in 2030 and 2040.
Project on how to predict agricultural drought conditions using Vegetation Health Index in Google Earth Engine
Using atmospheric humidity deficits to discern soil moisture deficits. Python code repository for Baldocchi et al. (2021)
A Matlab function to calculate Palmer Drought Severity Index (PDSI) using monthly temperature and precipitation data. Can determine values for multiple sites simultaneously.
