What about the other meanings of heart, such as one of the 4 suits in a deck of cards (Russian черви)? —Stephen 10:41, 25 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Kept. See archived discussion of July 2008. 06:01, 4 August 2008 (UTC)

Heart as a synonym of determination and conviction

edit

Definition four reads, "Courage; courageous purpose; spirit."

Heart can also refer to determination and conviction, as in the phrases, "She's got heart," "She showed real heart today."

Should "determination; conviction" be added to definition four, or should it be added as a separate definition?
