Welcome to the WikiProject Translation Studies.
Some Wikipedians have formed a project to better organize information in articles related to translation studies. This page and its subpages contain their suggestions; it is hoped that this project will help to focus the efforts of other Wikipedians. Scope
editThe purpose of the Translation Studies project is a large-scale initiative that simplifies and standardizes pages for all about Translation studies, improves the information available for past events and works to provide better information for all future events. In addition, the project also improves and simplifies pages for general Translation studies.

Goals
editTo expand, improve, and spread knowledge about Translation Studies, raising awareness about the importance of this vital interdiscipline that has helped contact among cultures and peoples along the history of mankind.
Although it may be an autonomous field, this project also comprises computer-assisted translation, which has turned out to be an important tool for the tasks of translating and reviewing.

editThere are a number of things you can do right now to help:
- Register your name on the list of participants.
- Watchlist and monitor the General Discussion.
- Add {{User WikiProject Translation studies}} to your user page. It will automatically add you to Category:WikiProject Translation studies participants.
- Join one or more task forces and repeat the same steps for each.
