The Arbitration Committee has enacted remedies that apply to all editors who make edits related to abortion (the "contentious topic"). The contentious topics procedure applies to all pages and edits related to this contentious topic.

Administrators instructed

Administrators are instructed to only move or rename pages relating to the topic of abortion (broadly construed) in the presence of a demonstrable community consensus (such as the result of a proper Requested Move discussion).

Guidance for administrators

  • Editors are strongly encouraged to not move pages in this topic area without demonstrable consensus, such as through a requested move discussion.

Standard set of restrictions

Any uninvolved administrator may impose the standard set of restrictions in this topic area for up to one year:
