Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Ologies (series) has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. I removed the following link(s): http://ology.wikia.com/wiki/Ologypedia/. If the external link you inserted or changed was to an external Wiki, then please note that these links should generally not be included (see 'links to avoid' #12).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 22:36, 6 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article The Dark Tower (series), please cite a reliable source for your addition. The Fall of Chronopolis

edit

This is an automated message from MadmanBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of The Fall of Chronopolis, and it appears to be a substantial copy of http://www.oivas.com/bjb/fall.html.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. Deletion nomination notification

edit

Hello. I have just nominated The Recollection for deletion due to an apparent lack of notability of the subject. If you disagree, please improve the article and discuss at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The Recollection.

Orphaned non-free media (File:The Recollection.png)

edit

Thanks for uploading File:The Recollection.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:22, 15 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Engine City (book), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Dark Light (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Proposed deletion of Ack-Ack Macaque

edit

The article Ack-Ack Macaque has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

I did a search and wasn't able to find enough coverage in reliable sources to show that this as of yet unreleased novel passes notability guidelines at this point in time. It's just far WP:TOOSOON for this to have its own article at this point in time.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Ways to improve Pirate Cinema (Cory Doctorow novel)

edit

Hi, I'm Mabalu. Wyvern Rex., thanks for creating Pirate Cinema (Cory Doctorow novel)!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. This sounds like a great book, but as it currently stands and is sourced, it REALLY needs more sources to show its significance. (I saw enough hits on Google News not to WP:AFD it.)

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.

Ways to improve Howard L. Myers

Hi, I'm Mabalu. Wyvern Rex., thanks for creating Howard L. Myers!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. I am a bit concerned about the single source/citation here as it doesn't appear to show the John Clute quote. This article does need additional references.

Marking edits as minor

edit

Hi. I've just noticed quite a lot of your edits are marked as minor, particularly in instances where you've added hundreds of bytes worth of data. These [1] [2] are definitely not minor edits. If you've done anything more than change a typo or two, or fixed a grammar mistake, or update a number of some kind, it's most likely not a minor edit and should not be marked as such. Please see Help:Minor edit for what constitutes a minor edit. Ss112 15:07, 23 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of File:BaldemarCover.jpg

edit
Notice

The file File:BaldemarCover.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-free book cover being used in a WP:DECORATIVE manner in Matt Hughes (writer)#Baldemar. Non-free book covers are generally allowed to be used for primary identification purposes in stand-alone articles about the books they represent, but their use in other articles is generally only allowed when the book cover itself is the subject of sourced critical commentary as explained in WP:NFC#cite_note-3 and the context for non-free use required by WP:NFCC#8 is evident. There is no such commentary for this particular book cover anywhere in the article which means there's really no loss of encyclopedic understand to the reader by not seeing it.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. -- Marchjuly (talk) 01:29, 14 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
