Algerian football
editHello Wbel, I have sent you an e-mail message via Wikipedia concerning Algerian football. --Stalfur (talk) 03:58, 19 January 2010 (UTC)
The article Noureddine Zekri has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Triwbe (talk) 17:24, 28 May 2010 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Said Mehamha
editA tag has been placed on Said Mehamha requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Joao10Siamun (talk) 03:48, 24 June 2010 (UTC)
The article Said Mehamha has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Fails WP:ATHLETE. Mehamha has never played in a fully professional league. No Ligue 1, Coupe de la Ligue, or Coupe de France match.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Joao10Siamun (talk) 15:03, 24 June 2010 (UTC)
2010–11 Algerian Ligue Professionnelle 2
editHey, I've seen your work on the other Algerian topics and more recently on the 2010-11 Algerian Ligue Professionnelle 1 topic. I've created a page for the 2nd division as well (just like the 1st division one) and was wondering if you would you be able to put in the standings table in the 2010–11 Algerian Ligue Professionnelle 2 topic like you did for the 1st division one. Let me know .. and keep up the good work. TonyStarks (talk) 00:10, 26 August 2010 (UTC)
- yea, I was going to do it anyway! I'm just trying to put up last seasons tables for the Ligue Régional I. Wbel (talk) 13:49, 26 August 2010 (UTC)

Championnat National Amateur
editSorry, I don't know any good sources other than looking up the club's name in Google and going from there. I fixed the E Collo article, added some history and more sections to it. I'll try to see what I else I can find for the other clubs. TonyStarks (talk) 04:28, 19 November 2010 (UTC)

Template mergers
editHey, hope all is well. I just had a quick request/question. Do you not think it would be better to merge the following two templates: Template:Championnat National de Football Amateur Groupe Centre-Ouest and Template:Championnat National de Football Amateur Groupe Centre-Est ? I mean its the same league, just two divisions within the league. Personally, I think it would be better to have them all in one template (with the template split into two sections) so that way you can see all the teams playing in the 3rd division (Champ. National). What do you think?TonyStarks (talk) 02:07, 24 August 2011 (UTC)
- well, other leagues have different templates for their groups (take a look at some of the French lower leagues). Personally, I think its okay how it is, but maybe if you could show me an example of two groups in one template, then...... Wbel (talk) 02:31, 24 August 2011 (UTC)
- Yeah I know the French ones have separate templates but they have groups of 4 and 8, so it wouldnt look good. Anyways, I was thinking of something like this (made it real quick just to show you, it can probably be improved to include seasons, etc.): User:TonyStarks/Template. Let me know what you think. TonyStarks (talk) 04:06, 24 August 2011 (UTC)
- that example is okay, but there's 3 groups now in the 3rd division. So what do you think?Wbel (talk) 04:09, 24 August 2011 (UTC)
- Ah, didn't know they've changed to 3 groups this season. Personally, I still think it's better because like I said before, you get to see all the teams playing in the 3rd division (instead of having to click through the main league page then clicking to the actual division). I mean I don't want to insist cause you created the template (and have done most of the work for that division) but I'd rather them combine them .. but the decision is really up to you.TonyStarks (talk) 04:35, 24 August 2011 (UTC)
- if you feel it would improve the page then go ahead! Wbel (talk) 04:37, 24 August 2011 (UTC)
- Do you have an updated list of the teams and what division they are in? Can't seem to find it anywhere.TonyStarks (talk) 04:46, 24 August 2011 (UTC)
- I've just got the fixtures for the up and coming season and the names of the clubs are abbreviated. If you look at 2010–11 Inter-Régions Division you can quickly find out the teams. Link for fixtures [1] Wbel (talk) 05:00, 24 August 2011 (UTC)

Yossi Benayoun
editNoticed your edits to his article .. he's of Algerian descent? Any sources? I always thought he was of Moroccan descent.TonyStarks (talk) 07:35, 29 August 2011 (UTC)
- The Benayoun surname is of Algerian origin from Oran. The same applies for Ben Haim, but the name can be historically found in both Oran and Algiers. I used French military records to locate both surnames, and all military personal with these names where from Algeria originally. Wbel (talk) 18:42, 29 August 2011 (UTC)
- Ah .. but I'm not sure that's sufficient evidence. I'm sure you can find both names in Morocco too, especially since a lot of Jewish people left Algeria to go to Morocco at some point.TonyStarks (talk) 05:48, 30 August 2011 (UTC)
- well, if that's the case then those that went to Morocco would still be of Algerian decent. Could you find me any sources of the surname of Benayoun in Morocco? Wbel (talk) 06:16, 30 August 2011 (UTC)
- Actually you might be right, couldn't find any Benayoun's from Morocco .. although I didn't look that hard.TonyStarks (talk) 07:39, 31 August 2011 (UTC)

Championnat National Amateur
editWith the new logo you added for the Championnat Amateur (D3), we should probably change the name of the article to Ligue Nationale du Football Amateur. I didn't want to do it before running the idea by you first. There isn't too many articles pointing to it so it shouldn't be too much work to change all the links as well. Let me know what you think.TonyStarks (talk) 07:41, 31 August 2011 (UTC)
- I agree (I think they changed the name from last season) Wbel (talk) 12:20, 31 August 2011 (UTC)
players names in arabic
editHey .. to reply to you, its common practise to include the Arabic name if the name is originally Arabic. For example, Russian and Israeli players will have their names written in their native language. It's not a must and you can argue that it's not necessary for every single player since some are Berber but whatever. However, for the clubs, I think it should be included since clubs have official names in Arabic and French so both should be included in the article to make it complete.TonyStarks (talk) 03:00, 5 September 2011 (UTC)

Regarding File:Logo-lnfa.jpg
editI have removed File:Logo-lnfa.jpg which you added to 2010–11 Championnat National de Football Amateur with this edit, because it does not have a valid non-free media use rationale for the article. Please see Wikipedia:Non-free content for the applicable policy and Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline if you want to address the issues. Thank you. Larbi Ben M'hidi
editNoticed you removed his Chaoui origin. His French Wikipedia article says he is Chaoui (not sure if you speak French but I'm sure you can figure it out): "Cadet d'une famille de trois filles et deux garçons, il naquit au village El Kouahi près de Aïn M'lila1 dans la Wilaya de Oum el Bouaghi dans les Aurès en Algérie dans une famille chaouie rurale aisée." Its unreferenced but its been there for long and I have no reason to doubt its accuracy (French Wikipedia is usually good when it comes to famous Algerian personalities). A quick search on Google also seems to indicate he's Chaoui. Any proof he's not? TonyStarks (talk) 03:46, 17 September 2011 (UTC)
- yes there is proof! contact me via email and i'll let you know. Your quick search in google shows results from blogs, youtube, facebook and a book being sold on amazon called "Chaoui People" why do they all associate Chaouia people with Ben M'hidi? because all these prats tend to thing Ain M'lila is Chaoui where in fact its not! anyway if you want the proof just drop me a email, I don't want to discuss it on wiki! MC Mekhedma
editJust letting you know that I've started a page for MC Mekhedma. Its still in my user space (User:TonyStarks/MC Mekhadma) and so far I don't have much there .. but feel free to add any details to it if you want. When it's ready I'll move into Wikipedia. Hopefully we can do up all the clubs that play in the third division. TonyStarks (talk) 19:45, 12 November 2011 (UTC)
- Hey, I would really like to have the articles for all the clubs in the third division complete too, but its extremly difficult to do so! Since its almost or impossible to find information about these clubs, but i'll try my utmost to do so. It's something I would have liked to have done last year! but not having the ability to read arabic or french and rely on translators has made it difficult! maybe I'll use one of my contacts, we'll see anyways! I was also about to send you a message about the Algerian Cup 2011-12, as a few games have already been played! I was wondering if you'd be creating the article? Wbel (talk) 21:33, 12 November 2011 (UTC)
- Sorry didn't see your reply .. just a note on the topic, when you reply you should do it in my talk page (or whoever's page that posted the message, that way we can see it :D). Anyways, if you ever need help with Arabic/French let me know, I'll be more than happy to translate. As for the D3 teams, I'll make that my focus for next few weeks, hopefully we can get it done, even if the articles wont have much info on them. As for Algerian Cup, I noticed they started but its just the regional rounds and there's waay too much details to put .. I'll start a new article when more details are available about the "national level" of it (if you want to start about regional level go ahead but I don't suggest it given the work lol). Anyways, take care and like I told you let me know when you need anything. TonyStarks (talk) 11:52, 17 November 2011 (UTC)
- Ammoura I'm not 100% certain but I'm sure that he signed as a free agent, I don't remember reading anywhere that he was loaned and I usually keep up with USMA. As for USMH, yes its USM El Harrach. TonyStarks (talk) 01:29, 22 November 2011 (UTC)
- Are you talking about Ammoura not being in the squad published by the league? If so, keep in mind that he's under 21 and that U21 players can be registered with the U21 team and still be eligible to play for the first team. That's probably why his name isn't there. Teams are only allowed 25 licenses, that's why younger players aren't registered in the team lists. TonyStarks (talk) 04:14, 22 November 2011 (UTC)
- Just letting you know that I created the article for WA Ramdane Djamel. Feel free to add anything that is missing. Also, the team has a really good website with history, details, etc. if you have the time (and energy and will), you can add that info to the article.TonyStarks (talk) 15:31, 2 December 2011 (UTC)

I would like to invite you on an international discussion site about Olympic sports, where you can discuss about Football and all other Olympic sports with people from all around the world, supporting your favourite athletes and nations in all sports. Also, if you want, you can contribute with the Football section to help us growing day after day.
So if you are interested, just search on your search engine for "Men's Football CAF African Under 23 Championship 2011" (with "), and you will find a thread dedicated to the Olympic Oceanian Qualification.
I hope you will register and start posting about Football and other sports soon.
Thanks.

Sorry for the mistake, I obviously meant African Qualification, not Oceanian. It was really too late when I sent the message but still that didn't stop someone to delete it in few minutes. Thank you very much for putting it again, I really hope this means you are interested and you will join us soon.
See you soon! Thanks. Denis 94.163.62.51 (talk) 09:47, 27 November 2011 (UTC)

editI added Chaouchi to the List of goalscoring goalkeepers. I added his ref for the last goal (yesterday in the league against MC El Eulma) but I couldn't find a ref for his first goal (with JSK in the African Cup I believe?). Re: Ben Arfa
editYou may be right. You might not be. Regardless of that, on Wikipedia, the prose of articles must be verified by sources. At the moment, the statement of Ben Arfa being born to a Tunisian father and a French mother is referenced by a legitimate source. This article by L'Union I recently found seem to suggest his mother was French as well with the statement Il a épousé une enfant du pays, avec qui il a eu un premier fils. "Moi, je l'aimais bien. Je n'ai que de bons souvenirs de lui. C'était un enragé du football" confie Alain Seret, son ex-beau frère. "Ce qui m'amusait le plus, c'est que mon père lui promettait un pigeon contre chaque but inscrit!", which states, after settling in Saint-Michel, Ben Arfa's father married a native of the city with whom conceived Hatem.
The documentary stating both his parents being of Tunisian origin may be legitimate as well. Maybe his mother was born in France to Tunisian parents or, like Ben Arfa, was born to a French mother and a Tunisian father. I don't know, but we can't speculate. If an agreement can't be reached, then I suggest we simply removed that and have the first paragraph of the article state:
Ben Arfa was born in Clamart, a southwestern suburb of Paris. His father is Kamel Ben Arfa, a former Tunisian international football player. His father discovered that his five-year old son had an interest in football and with guidance from a sports journalist and agent Michel Ouazin, Ben Arfa began his career as a football player. — JSRant Away 05:50, 12 January 2012 (UTC)

CSC-OM
editI think the Ammoura that played was Sid Ali according to this. It's the pre-game article and says that Ammoura (the right-back) is back for the game, so I'm assuming he was the one that played. However, that answer is not 100% since it doesnt' automatically mean he's the one that played, but I'd go with him. Hope that helps. TonyStarks (talk) 11:32, 3 March 2012 (UTC)
- Yeah np, I'll have a look .. you got a link ? TonyStarks (talk) 02:04, 11 March 2012 (UTC)
- Looks like Sahraoui (the one that took the free kick) is the one that scored. I don't think the other guy got a touch on it even though he claimed it lol. TonyStarks (talk) 10:05, 11 March 2012 (UTC)

fb template
editHey bro, quick question. I created the article for CRB Aïn Oussera. I was wondering if it was possible to change the title of this template Template:Fb team CRB Ain Oussera to the proper spelling and still have it work? Is it just a move or do we have to create a new template? Thanks TonyStarks (talk) 09:46, 16 March 2012 (UTC)
- It's just a move! I'll sort it out asap. Wbel (talk) 15:07, 16 March 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks! I appreciate it. Also, feel free to add any more details to the CRB Aïn Oussera article. I barely found any info on the club, which is a shame considering they're the only team from D4 left in the Cup this year. Hopefully there'll be some articles about it before the next round of games. TonyStarks (talk) 18:16, 16 March 2012 (UTC)
- UNAF: Oh it's all good bro, if you didn't get them started we probably wouldn't have done them at all, so at least you got us started. I've added a lot of detail to second 2008 edition now, just a few scores missing .. and thanks, feeling much better today (though still sick). TonyStarks (talk) 19:48, 26 March 2012 (UTC)
- Two different tournaments should have two different article, even if they are both in the same year. So it's good the way it is. TonyStarks (talk) 19:55, 26 March 2012 (UTC)
- No idea, I tried to come up with something for that earlier but couldn't think of anything. The way you have it should be OK I guess. TonyStarks (talk) 20:22, 26 March 2012 (UTC)
- DZFootball.free.fr only has 1 for 2011 (in December). Do you have any links for the other one or at least dates? If you give me dates I can find the info for you pretty quick. TonyStarks (talk) 14:12, 28 March 2012 (UTC)
- Are you referring to the first one in the list on that link you provided? If so, that's the 2007 edition. TonyStarks (talk) 17:55, 28 March 2012 (UTC)

DZfoot template
editJust letting you know that someone from WP:FOOTY took the time to build a DZFoot template for player templates. This way you just add the player ID and his name and link to DZfoot profile shows up (like other templates that I'm sure you've seen before. The template is at Template:DZFoot, if you need any help with it let me know, but it's pretty straightforward. Thanks to User:Cloudz679 for making it for me on request! The article Mohamed Nadjib Khiar has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Subject's notability is not established.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Sleddog116 (talk) 01:34, 3 April 2012 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Samir Lemoudaâ
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Samir Lemoudaâ requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Sleddog116 (talk) 01:35, 3 April 2012 (UTC)
Deleted page
editHey, I got the page restored to User:TonyStarks/Samir Lemoudaâ. I worked on it a bit and added what I could. If you don't mind adding his stats with CABBA this season (the 17/0 are for last season in Ligue 1). We can then restore it back to Wikipedia. Was there any other pages? From your edit page it's the only one I noticed. TonyStarks (talk) 21:08, 3 April 2012 (UTC)
- I asked an admin to restore it, and he restored it to my UserPage so I can work on it (show why the player is notable) before restoring it to the main Wikispace. I asked the admin at the general English wikipedia help chat room here. There's usually admins in the room that would be able to help you out with stuff like that. TonyStarks (talk) 22:15, 3 April 2012 (UTC)
- Just an FYI, I added more details to the article and moved it back to its original spot. TonyStarks (talk) 10:39, 4 April 2012 (UTC)
- Hey, for Mohamed Nadjib Khiar, you listed his POB as El Ksour, which is in Tunisia. Did you mean El Kseur which is in Bejaia and much closer to where CABBA is located? TonyStarks (talk) 22:23, 4 April 2012 (UTC)

How is it going bro? I hope all is well with you. Anyways, I hate to revert your edits so I figured its best to let you know. For Belhadj's article, his intro should not mention other players (Niang/Keita) like you added and should be about him exclusively and what makes him notable. For example, you can say "Belhadj was a key member of the Al-Sadd team that won ..." etc. If you insist on mentioningg the other players, you can do that in the body of the article in the Al-Sadd section of his career, although I don't think its appropriate to mention the three Africans without mentioning the other key players of the team. You should not be selective based on "vague" links. I hope you understand my point, please let me know if you have any comments about it. I can make the edits myself, I just wanted to run it by you first. TonyStarks (talk) 18:02, 28 April 2012 (UTC)
- Yeah I think they should be edited, especially since their articles are pretty well developed. If it was one of those articles that only has 2-3 lines, then you can maybe leave them but most of those articles are pretty big. TonyStarks (talk) 15:31, 29 April 2012 (UTC)
- Yeah the Belhadj one is a lot better now, didn't check the others but I'm sure they're OK. As for inter-regions, I couldn't tell you off the top of my head but I know that it's been around for a while and it was the 3rd division until the new Amateur division a couple of seasons ago. Why do you ask? I can look into it and try to figure if you're interested. Also, what do you mean by the old 3rd diviison? As far as I can tell, inter-regions was the old 3rd division, no? TonyStarks (talk) 21:54, 29 April 2012 (UTC)
- Sorry I forgot to answer your last message .. For the third division, I really have no idea to be honest and DZFoot doesn't have info on the third division, so I wouldn't even know where to find the information. On another topic, I'm looking to add the unused subs to the 2012 Algerian Cup Final article but I can't find them. I tried looking at some of the YouTube vids of the game to see the substitutes at the start but all the videos I watched don't have them. Can you try finding them? Also, if you know how to do the jerseys, please add them to the article, here's some pictures of the two teams. Thanks. TonyStarks (talk) 04:46, 2 May 2012 (UTC)

2011 World Military Cup
editYeah no problem I'll fix the list. TonyStarks (talk) 03:38, 31 May 2012 (UTC)
- I fixed a few of the names and I also added the first keeper (Riadh Moudjer). Some of the players don't have articles but the spelling of their name is correct. TonyStarks (talk) 03:49, 31 May 2012 (UTC)
- I took the list from DZFoot. The article is from just before the start of the competition. It has club names as well so makes it easier to verify the full name of the player when searching. As for Moudjer, I assumed each team would have 3 GK's no? 21:57, 31 May 2012 (UTC)
- Not a problem. I know his name is not on the list but their website is full of mistakes so safe to assume he have been omitted. Algerian sources say he was part of the team and check out this article which says he was honored along with some of the other players that participated after they returned from Brazil. It say "L’AS Radieuse a remis à Sid Ahmed Aouedj, Hichem Belkeroui, Sidhoum Ilyès, Bentaleb Lakhdar et Ryad Moudjer des diplômes d’honneur, des médailles, des cadeaux et des trophées du mérite." Ultimately, I'll let you decide if he should be included or not. TonyStarks (talk) 03:26, 5 June 2012 (UTC)

Hey, Lemmouchia did not play for Algeria U20 at the 2001 African Youth Championship like you stated in his article, he only played in the first two round of qualifiers against Libya and Ghana. The team didn't qualify to the final tournament. With that said, I don't think he should be listed as a "notable player" for the U20 team. I think the only notable players for the U20 team should be the ones that participated won the 1979 African Youth Championship and the ones that played in the 1979 FIFA World Youth Championship like Djamel Menad, Hocine Yahi, Antar Osmani, Aissa Kouici, Nasser Bouiche, Boualem Baziz, etc. TonyStarks (talk) 03:43, 27 June 2012 (UTC)
- I guess that's one way to look at it. I thought it would be better to include players that were notable at that level, I don't know which is correct to be honest. I guess doesn't hurt have both. TonyStarks (talk) 23:55, 27 June 2012 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for January 19
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Larbi Ben M'hidi, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Algerian. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Invite to the African Destubathon
editHi. You may be interested in participating in the African Destubathon which starts on October 15. Africa currently has over 37,000 stubs and badly needs a quality improvement editathon/contest to flesh out basic stubs. There are proposed substantial prizes to give to editors who do the most articles, and planned smaller prizes for doing to most destubs for each of the 53 African countries, so should be enjoyable! So it would be a good chance to win something for improving stubs on African sportspeople, including footballers, athletes, Olympians and Paralympians etc, particularly female ones, but also male. Even if contests aren't your thing we would be grateful if you could consider destubbing a few African articles during the drive to help the cause and help reduce the massive 37,000 + stub count, of which many are rated high importance (think Regions of countries etc). If you're interested in competing or just loosely contributing a few expanded articles on African Paralympians, Olympians and committees etc, please add your name to the Contestants/participants section. Diversity of work from a lot of people will make this that bit more special. Thanks. --MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 21:13, 6 October 2016 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Category:Algerian Ligue Professionnelle 2
editA tag has been placed on Category:Algerian Ligue Professionnelle 2 requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the category has been empty for seven days or more and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Liz Read! The article Walid Belguerfi has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Chamaemelum (talk) 06:38, 7 July 2023 (UTC)
