Government of Ireland

edit

The scope of this category covers both the current adminitration and that of the Kingdom. Perhaps they should be split. But right now, they are not. So it is indeed also a "former" country. Laurel Lodged (talk) 07:40, 1 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

@Laurel Lodged I have already created Category:Government of pre-partition Ireland. Do you agree with this solution? Privybst (talk) 08:11, 1 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
I do not. Technically every government from the time of the Fianna to 1922 would fall into that category. Laurel Lodged (talk) 09:59, 1 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
Also, please stop creating new categories like Category:High Shrievalties in pre-partition Ireland. You seem to have a wide agenda. Would you care to discuss it? Laurel Lodged (talk) 10:02, 1 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Laurel Lodged is it a problem that every government from the time of the Fianna to 1922 would falls into Category:Government of pre-partition Ireland? Now they all fall into Category:Government of Ireland. Let's discuss it, I'm open to any discussion on any venue. If you have any objection to the existance of Category:Pre-partition Ireland (or any of its sub-cats) can you open deleting/renaming/merging/splitting discussion? I don't know how to do it properly. Proposed deletion of President of Belgium

edit
Notice

The article President of Belgium has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Belgium has no president (never had), none of these are referred to as the president of Belgium.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. 2010 Swedish local elections moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, 2010 Swedish local elections, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. -MPGuy2824 (talk) 04:08, 13 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

@DoubleGrazing But I put both sources from which all data is taken. Is it not enough? Privybst (talk) 11:13, 13 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
When I declined this, there was one source cited once. No, that's not enough. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 11:22, 13 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
@DoubleGrazing no, the main source with all data was from the very start. In Draft:2010 Swedish local elections#External links section. Privybst (talk) 11:24, 13 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
External links are not references. Only sources which are cited (using any of the acceptable methods, but preferably through inline citations and footnotes) are considered references. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 11:26, 13 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
@DoubleGrazing @MPGuy2824 see 1991 Swedish local elections, 2002 Swedish local elections, 2014 Swedish local elections, 2018 Swedish local elections, the same amount of information, the same amount of sources. Privybst (talk) 11:19, 13 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
See otherstuffexists. In creating new articles, we must comply with the relevant guidelines and policies, not use other articles as the model. If there are existing articles with insufficient referencing, we need to deal with them, not create more such problems. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 11:25, 13 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
