Buses WikiProject

I notice that you have edited lists of bus routes recently. You might be interested in helping with the new WikiProject buses, especially the proposed Bus route list guide. We are also working out when a bus route should have its own article and other issues. --NE2 15:39, 25 April 2007 (UTC)

Perth line maps

Hi, I've noticed you recently made changes to Joondalup railway line, Perth concerning station distances. The information added is in conflict with the details in the article for each station, so can you please advise where you sourced this information from otherwise these changes will need to be reverted. Thanks, Thewinchester (talk) 01:28, 27 May 2007 (UTC)

  • Thanks for beating me to Mandurah, makes a lot less work for me. Have corrected some minor errors i've found with the Kwinana sector (missing road crossing) and also tried to give a better representation of the Perth western rail yard. It's a pain to get it exactly how it should be. Thanks for the work. Thewinchester (talk) 13:04, 28 May 2007 (UTC)
  • Have just noticed something else, this time on the Armadale railway line, Perth, where you added an additional branch off the Forestfield Freight Line connecting to just north of Kenwick. I cannot see this line anywhere on the maps, and on inspection on satellite imagery for the adjoining freight spur and the station in question, while there is evidence to suggest that there was a connection to the freight spur in the past, the track has been ripped up. Also, there is no switchpoint on the freight line to connect to it if was in existence. I have removed the changes accordingly. Cheers, Thewinchester (talk) 06:38, 30 May 2007 (UTC)

North South Line

I read the Wikipedia talk:SGpedians' notice board#Simplified MRT rail maps section. Good job on this! I have a suggestion that interchange stations may be depicted using the "Branches and junctions" at railway line template page. I have edited User:Sandstorm6299/Sandbox/NS Line using branches at Bishan Station, and change Bishan to a above-ground station (since it lies on ground, not underground). Phew, it is quite a tough job! Anyway, I hope this will help! Cheers, Joshua Say "hi" to me!What have I done? 14:43, 31 May 2007 (UTC)

Old lines

You probably have got most of it right. I will have heaps of info and checking things later - not on much today. Very very good work - thank you for your hard work. cheers SatuSuro 01:26, 12 June 2007 (UTC)

Upper darling range is a very complicated one in the Midland junction railway station area - I do have maps that help may send a jpeg by the weekend on that.
There are also some sidings on the mundaring line that need identifying
The whole thing of the three routes of the eastern is probleamtic but you have made an excellent start - well done! SatuSuro 01:38, 12 June 2007 (UTC)

Wikimania 2008

Hey! I'm contacting all the members of wikiproject Perth because, I have put in an incomplete bid for Perth to hold Wikimania 2008. Please show your support by adding your name to the list and help contribute by improving our bid which is incomplete and located here - thanks Talk to symode09's or How's my driving? 18:11, 10 August 2007 (UTC)

Very impressed

with templates - i have just taken a photo of the memorial plaque in midland for the 1904 poison gulley accident - it was between the bottom of the zig zag and the bushmead siding - will try to find my refs on it and let you know - or can i change the plan? SatuSuro 09:46, 7 October 2007 (UTC)

The eastern railway route diagram looks hellish complicated - I presume it is ongoing and in process? - the swan view location and the subsequent ones need to sit in relationship to the first route - SatuSuro 09:49, 7 October 2007 (UTC)

The route map is based on what I could find on the internet. There are some sites out there that do a good job on documenting as much as possible. I'm hoping that those that know more can contribute better to the maps. 리지강.wa.au (의논하다|기여) 09:54, 7 October 2007 (UTC)

OK - the correlation of the two routes on the eastern one need juggling - will try to have a look later - thanks again anyways SatuSuro 09:55, 7 October 2007 (UTC)

Downtown Line Stage 1 numbers

They can be found on the latest system map issued by LTA at http://www.lta.gov.sg/projects/proj_maps_rail_l.htm Survivorfreak 15:37, 8 October 2007 (UTC)

Sorry SurvivorFreak. May I suggest that in future you could post a link so that there I don't revert confirmed information again. 리지강.wa.au (의논하다|기여) 15:39, 8 October 2007 (UTC)

s-lines template

Hi i was looking at the template SMRT stations and don't quite understand the lines with 2 MRT stations, i.e. Pasir Ris or Changi Airport=[[Pasir Ris MRT Station|Pasir Ris]] or [[Changi Airport MRT Station|Changi Airport]]. could you enlighten me on this? :) Oahiyeel 21:40, 14 November 2007 (UTC)

I've amended your Sandbox for MRT route templates to include branch parameters. Hope you don't mind :) Oahiyeel 22:40, 14 November 2007 (UTC)

Bukit Panjang LRT

Hi, I've noticed you have changed the succession boxes to reflect Services A, B & C. However, i feel that there is redundancy in labeling it this way. Firstly, the services are not technically branches, only the Ten Mile station is considered a branch. I also feel that in the stations within the loop, it is quite redundant to show 2 "one-way"s in opposite direction. It's like changing the east west line into "East bound branch" and "West bound branch". Get my meaning? :)  - oahiyeel talk 18:50, 21 November 2007 (UTC)

Well, branches or services, they do suit the purpose of indicating the three different services used for the BPLRT. But yes, I do agree on your analogy. I will set about eliminating the "Service" labels, however, I will keep the "Towards Choa Chu Kang via Fajar" links, as that more accurately describes the route. 리지강.wa.au (의논하다|기여) 18:53, 21 November 2007 (UTC)
