Agumon

edit

How do you suggest writing Agumon's article in regards to appearances? I'm confused with that template.Tintor2 (talk) 13:29, 16 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

Like I said, Pikachu doesn't just focus on the one belonging to Ash Ketchum and even Tai Kamiya talks about the Manga and video game versions of the human character. If this article is going to talk about "Agumon", like the Pikachu article it needs to talk about its appearances in ever piece of Digimon media from vpets, to games, to manga, to anime, to trading cards, and so forth. you know, like the fandom version does? ps the reboot version of Agumon is *not* the same character as the version in the OG anime/movies, that is just going to cause confusion. @Tintor2:Muur (talk) 14:41, 16 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

Players cannot move from one club to another until the transfer window opens on 1 July, regardless of there being an option in his loan to make the deal permanent. GiantSnowman 11:55, 28 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

The transfer window opens June 9th. source Muur (talk) 14:15, 28 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

Fair point - in which case update the article on 9 June, thanks. GiantSnowman 14:17, 28 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
I'm gonna go back and put the Clause activation back part but leave him at West Ham till the 9th. Most transfers like you said end up waiting till July 1st since they're free agent ones but this is a special case. And if anyone is bought before july 1st after June 9 the transfer doesn't wait (e.g. Lets say man city buy a guy on June 18th for 50 million or something) Muur (talk) 14:22, 28 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
also heres some more proof west ham bought this guy and stated he officially joins on june 9th.Muur (talk) 14:31, 28 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

Please see WP:POINT with reference to your recent removal of honours. Mattythewhite (talk) 21:33, 29 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

hey, I want it to count. but [1]'s plan is to remove it from every single player that has ever been promoted in 2nd/play offs.Muur (talk) 21:35, 29 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
Which is why I'm referring you to WP:POINT, as you're removing content that you know to be notable to make a point. Mattythewhite (talk) 21:37, 29 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
I mean it'll save someone the effort in a few weeks when its time to go through 200 seasons and remove any and all promotions.Muur (talk) 21:39, 29 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
And with reference to Alex, the burgeoning consensus is to exclude runners-up *generally*, so I'm a little confused why you insist on that honour being included and the play-offs being removed. Mattythewhite (talk) 21:49, 29 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
you got a source for that? because the manual of style has cup runners up as relevant.Muur (talk) 21:51, 29 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
I'm referring to the other discussion taking place at WT:FOOTY, directly above the play-off one. Mattythewhite (talk) 21:51, 29 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
play offs is just bundled in with automatic promotion. the basis of the entire discussion was promotion in general, including play offs.Muur (talk) 21:52, 29 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

Fabrice Muamba and Rochdale U16

edit

Hello. It'd be absolutely fine to include Rochdale U16 in the management section of the infobox if credible sources existed to show that Mr Muamba had ever held that role, but there aren't. It was well publicised that he did some coaching with Rochdale U16s in 2018, while doing his badges, as he also did at Arsenal in 2021, and at Bolton before he was taken on as a member of their academy staff, but there are no sources I can find to suggest he was Rochdale U16 manager from 2018 to 2022.

Rochdale's Academy website is here, and there are multiple archive copies of the staff page e.g. October 2018, September 2019, on which his name doesn't appear. And if that website's anything to go by, they don't seem to have age-group team managers as such at all. cheers, Struway2 (talk) 09:10, 15 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

Category redirects

edit

Hello, Muur,

Just FYI, redirects on categories are done differently than on article pages. See Category:Bury A.F.C. managers and look at the code to see how to create a category redirect. Without this code, then the categories appear on an Empty Category list to be deleted. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 06:06, 11 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

Non-free rationale for File:EFL Trophy.png

edit

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:EFL Trophy.png. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F6 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. — Ирука13 05:13, 15 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
