Concerning Holocaust & Genocide
I was hoping that wikipedia may be able to make a section for Holocaust & Genocide as either a project or portal. I thought that it might be part of the Military project of the History section. Looking for assistance with this. Thanks. I would appreciate comments & assistance to be left on my talk page [[1]]. I hope to hear from you soon. Eric Rodrigues.

Hi Kyriakos! Any assistance is welcomed! So, if you can improve the article, go for it. I do not have any particular instructions. The goal is to keep it featured, and as a revered FA editor, I think I know how it works! Cheers!--Yannismarou 07:53, 10 September 2007 (UTC)

Copyedit of Cleomenean War
Hey there. I noticed on Awadewit's talk page that you're looking for a copyeditor for Cleomenean War. I'm no Awadewit, but I am an English teacher, so I'd be willing to have a go at it if you'd like. I can probably start tomorrow (Tuesday 24 Sept). Lemme know if you no longer need the CE and I'll back off. – Scartol · Talk 23:58, 24 September 2007 (UTC)
- I lied. It may be tomorrow or maybe a couple of days yet. Sorry for the delay! – Scartol · Talk 01:12, 26 September 2007 (UTC)
- Okay, I've finished my copyedit. I've corrected many things along the way, and also left a number of comments on the talk page. I hope they're helpful. Cheers! – Scartol · Talk 00:20, 27 September 2007 (UTC)
Re: Portal:Military of Greece
It looks just about ready to go. I'd play around with getting the boxes at the bottom to line up a bit more evenly; they're pretty much fixed-size, so you ought to be able to avoid having a big gap in there. Other than that, I can't see any problems with it. Kirill 02:37, 29 September 2007 (UTC)
Thanks
Thanks for your support at FAC. Would you like to take a look at: Slavery in ancient Greece? I think Raul654 might be scouting for feedback[2], and there are only two "votes" after 2 weeks. Best, DrKiernan 13:44, 1 October 2007 (UTC)

Your GA nomination of Battle of Dyrrhachium (1081)
The article Battle of Dyrrhachium (1081) you nominated as a good article has been placed on hold. It hasn't failed because it's basically a good article, but there are some minor changes or clarifications needed to be addressed. If these are fixed within seven days, the article will pass, otherwise it will fail. See Talk:Battle of Dyrrhachium (1081) for things needed to be addressed. Victor12 17:58, 18 October 2007 (UTC)
Byzantine-Seljuk wars GA Sweeps Review: On Hold
As part of the WikiProject Good Articles, we're doing sweeps to go over all of the current GAs and see if they still meet the GA criteria. I'm specifically going over all of the "Conflicts, battles and military exercises" articles. I have reviewed Byzantine-Seljuk wars and believe the article currently meets the majority of the criteria and should remain listed as a Good article. In reviewing the article, I have found there are some issues that may need to be addressed, and I'll leave the article on hold for seven days for them to be fixed. Please consider helping address the several points that I listed on the talk page of the article, which shouldn't take too long to fix. If you have any questions, let me know on my talk page and I'll get back to you as soon as I can. --Nehrams2020 07:30, 28 October 2007 (UTC)

CHERUB books
Hi. I appreciate your work on the CHERUB article and the CHERUB books. But do you think you might find independent sources? Looking at the official website of a book (or a film or whatever) as a source to testify its success is not the most independent and impartial way to assess it... What is Tag & Assess MMVII? We'd better explain. A month or so back, we ran a script to list all the articles in categories related to military history. This gave us about 165,000 articles. Some of these are already tagged and assessed as military history; some are military history but not yet tagged and assessed; some are not military history articles at all. This huge project — working thorough 165,000 articles — is called Tag & Assess 2007. To make it manageable, the list has been broken down into 330 ranges each of 500 articles. This is where you can help. Just... adopt-a-range from the available worklists then keep track of your tally on participants' list. The tagging is easy, just follow the simple instructions. Afterwards, as our way of thanking you, you'll be presented with service awards and barnstars based on the number of articles you process. Remember... the ranges are broken down into sub-sections of ten articles, so you work through them at twenty or thirty articles a day if you wish. To make Tag & Assess 2007 a success, we need your help. Please sign up now. Thanks. | ||

Happy New Year
Thanks and Happy New Year
Firstly, let me wish you a very happy New Year and thank you for all your help in the Milhist Tag & Assess 2007 drive.
Secondly, although the Tag & Assess 2007 drive is now officially closed, you are very welcome to continue tagging and assessing until 31 January 2008. Any extra articles you tag and assess during this time will be credited fully to your tagging tally for further award purposes.
Thirdly, if you can find the time, it would be great to have your feedback/comments and participation in the recently-set-up Tag & Assess workshop The idea is to see what lessons we can learn from the 2007 drive to make the 2008 one more efficient and enjoyable.

A tag has been placed on Cretan War (1645-1669), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}}
to the article and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Noah¢s (Talk) 22:33, 7 January 2008 (UTC)

Invitation
Hello. You may have seen that some Wikipedia articles lack sources to given dates, timelines and chronologies.
If you feel that you could like to help in making all articles more reliable and well sourced in this regard, we would like to encourage you to use, as part of your daily editing and when {{fact}} is not enough for requesting clearly and specifically a citation or source for dates, timeline or chronology, the following inline tag:
- {{Timefact}} displays {chronology source needed} for requesting timelines, dates and chronology sources. Click here for more information
At WP Timeline Tracer, we thank you for using these tools and for helping to make Wikipedia articles more accurate and reliable.

Re: Cleomenean War
I think it's more-or-less ready at this point; some technical cleanup of things like the footnote formatting might be worthwhile, but that's minor. The only point that I'd concern myself with is the heavy reliance on primary sources. You need to be sure that you can justify following them directly rather than filtering them through secondary sources, as it's quite possible the question will come up at FAC.
Cheers! Kirill 13:45, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
