Article about tennis player

edit

A few months ago I made an article about the Bulgarian tennis player Borislava Botusharova, but it got deleted, because the player didn't pass the notability guidelines for tennis players. This week she is in the national team for the 2014 Fed Cup Europe/Africa Zone matches and today she made her debut for the Bulgarian team.

I understand that now she is considered notable according to Wikipedia:WikiProject_Tennis/Article_guidelines#Notability, so I'm looking for someone to help me bring back that deleted article, so I don't have to write it again. Here's a link for the delete discussion - Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Borislava Botusharova in case that's helpful for the article to be found. Thanks! Kr1s71an (talk) 09:25, 7 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

You should ask the administrator who closed the deletion discussion, user Mark Arsten (talk) to undelete the article or "userfy" it - move it to a page in your userspace where you can update it. You will need his agreement before the article is returned to the main encyclopedia. JohnCD (talk) 10:22, 7 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Julia Terziyska

edit

The article Julia Terziyska has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

This player is not notable by project standards; she has no Fed Cup or WTA main draw appearances, has not won any ITF tournaments above the $25,000 category, has had no remarkable junior career (neither a Grand Slam win nor ranked in the world's top 3) and there are no further claims that she is otherwise, at present, generally notable.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. I proposed it at WP:Tennis, but no feedback yet. Pelmeen10 (talk) 14:19, 23 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
