Westphal

edit

Hi FreakyBoy - I read your message but I am afraid that I can not really help you with Westphal - I know almost nothing about the subject - I corrected a spelling mistake that is all. Its mainly what I do on Wikipedia - correct typos, copyedit and revert vandalism when I find it. Hopefully someone will give you a proper welcome to Wikipedia but until then happy editing. I understand your mean, but I want to serves a tacit function for American readers! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Moonsun147258 (talkcontribs) 13:57, 19 April 2018 (UTC)Reply

Hey FreakyBoy! Kudos for trying to get an actually historically accurate definition of synth-pop on the page for over 5 years :) I replied to you on the talk page with a source that shows the 'new wave' claim up as bunk, so let's get it in there. Cheers! Janglyguitars (talk) 05:27, 8 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Synth-pop. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. DanielRigal (talk) 18:26, 21 April 2018 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Westphal, Nova Scotia, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Subdivision (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:29, 8 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

Do not make any important change like this one [1], in a wp:lead when you don't have any wp:consensus. Woovee (talk) 13:49, 14 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
