Relist of Alpha-olefin
editI saw you relisted the RM for Alpha-olefin. While I'm fine with giving it more time to see if anyone comments, keep in mind that per WP:RMNOMIN, there is no minimum participation for requested moves, and if a requested move has not received any objections after 7 days, it should normally be closed as moved, not relisted. Cheers, Mdewman6 (talk) 16:16, 8 October 2023 (UTC)
Hi, thank you for acting as closer in this discussion. Note that some link-fixing is required [1]; I've done quite a few, but would appreciate if you could jump in as well. 162 etc. (talk) 16:18, 16 October 2023 (UTC)
- You're right, I'll go over it with AWB. BegbertBiggs (talk) 17:29, 16 October 2023 (UTC)
- Great! I'll have to learn how to use this AWB one day. Thank you! 162 etc. (talk) 19:15, 16 October 2023 (UTC)

Ultra
edit@BegbertBiggs: Why was this article moved when there was no consensus rfc. The ultra decrypts were likely the most important thing of the 20th century. Why was that moved. It is clearly the primary topic. scope_creepTalk 08:33, 26 November 2023 (UTC)
- Hi @Scope creep: There was in fact consensus to make the move at the RM here: Talk:Ultra (cryptography)#Requested move 18 November 2023 BegbertBiggs (talk) 12:09, 26 November 2023 (UTC)

You moved this article, which appeared to be a biography of a living person, to draft space, because it did not have the proper footnotes for a BLP. It doesn't appear to be a BLP, because it has serious factual contradictions as to date of birth. Three of the five sources state that he died in 2008, and two of them state that he was born in 1934. The article states that he was born in 1934. I don't know whether it belongs in draft space; it definitely did not belong in article space. I have not yet decided whether it should be sent to MFD. Robert McClenon (talk) 23:50, 15 December 2023 (UTC)
- The comment of it being a BLP was provided by GoingBatty at WP:RMT. Admittedly I didn't check that it's actually a living person, but I moved it back to draft space anyway because I agreed that it clearly isn't ready for article space. BegbertBiggs (talk) 23:56, 15 December 2023 (UTC)
- Yes. I agree that you were reasonable in draftifying it on request. It's more complicated than either you or User:GoingBatty thought, but it didn't belong in article space. Robert McClenon (talk) 02:55, 16 December 2023 (UTC)
