Hello, and welcome to my Wikipedia user page! I am Pandula Bandara, a Sri Lankan photographer with a passion for capturing the world through my lens. My journey in photography began in 2017, and since then, I have had the privilege of participating in international photography competitions across 77 countries, earning over 3,500 awards, including 950 gold medals.

I was born on February 25, 1972, in Delgoda, Sri Lanka. My early education was at S. Thomas’ College, Guruthalawa. After completing my schooling, I served as a commissioned officer in the Sri Lanka Army, reaching the rank of Captain before transitioning to civilian life in 1997.

Beyond photography, I am interested in exploring the evolving role of technology in the arts. I also enjoy sharing my experiences and mentoring budding photographers.

Through my contributions, I aim to promote the art of photography, support emerging talent, and foster cross-cultural understanding through visual storytelling.
