21 [28] [29] No quotation-marks in attributed and referenced line Added quotation-marks diff Joshua Jonathan -Let's talk! 14:05, 26 March 2015 (UTC) This one is really fascinating. Blades Googled "the divine, the absolute, exists within all human beings regardless of social status" and "as the essence of others will promote love and social harmony", and found Burman (2002), Hindu-Muslim Syncretic Shrines and Communities, Mittal Publications, which contains the exact sentences, but referenced to Lopez Jr. 1995, while I clearly gave Flood (1996) p.258 as my source. I can't check Lopez Jr. (1995) in Burman(2002), but Flood 1996 definitely also contains the same sentence. Donald Lopez (2004), Buddhist Scriptures, contains a nice overview. Lopez 1995 may be either "Buddhism in Practice", Princeton University Press, or Curators of the Buddha: The Study of the Buddha Under Colonialism, Chicago University Press. Unfortunately, Goog;e doesn't help me futher here, but it's curious...
