Sultan Timur never came to Kashmir or had any influence on Kashmir. Check your history. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.88.88.202 (talk) 22:17, 12 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Who told you Timur came to kashmir Ancient.ant (talk) 13:47, 6 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

Wazvan is very ancient Aryan tradition of Kashmir. Kashmiris are meat eaters from the dawn of history. Thus Wazvan is mainly indigenous and like any other things has picked up things. Some uneducated people are mentioning that Sultan Timur captured Kashmir and brought in Wazvan. There is a long term political agenda in this. Sultan Timur never came close to Kashmir. History can not be changed for agendas. Mongols also never entered Kashmir. There is again a political agenda in this sincer Kashmiris are Aryans. The Mughals (a mongrel race of Aryans-Turks-Mongols) came in by deceit during the reign of Akbar but had little control. The mighty Akbar was twice defeated by Yusuf Shah Chak.

And sir timur was son of changez khan who was not a muslim but most of the asia was influenced by changez khan. His son Timur later on accepted Islam and from. Samarkand to kashmir was connected through silk route that was used for trade at that time. Ancient.ant (talk) 13:53, 6 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

80% Asia is connected to mongols as well kashmir, ladkah, gilgit, baltistan etc. See history for details Ancient.ant (talk) 13:56, 6 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

There are competing claims as to whether wazwan is a pan-Kashmiri tradition or limited to the Kashmir Valley. Saqiboberoi, Parveizrather and anyone else interested, please present sources backing up either of these claims. Ibadibam (talk) 17:45, 6 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

Well actually the cuisine in Gilgit Baltistan has very strong influence from Kashmiri wazwan. Also in Azad Kashmir it is famous particularly in Muzarafabad. I tried to find some on line source for it but could not. I guess it is better to keep it for the whole Kashmir region unless we have some serious conflict with editors here.
