editThis description is trivia at best. It should not come at the leading paragraph.
It is the central station in Saitama City and Saitama Prefecture according to JTB Train Guide.
This is misleading for visitors. JTB Train Guide is not JR official (JR Group now endorses timetable published by Kousai Shuppansha) and the status is irrelevant to the operations and the usage of the station. Soredewa 04:59, 27 April 2007 (UTC)
>Mr. Soredewa I think the information of the "central station" is needed especially by foreigners who enjoy travel in Japan with train guides published in Japan, although it's trivial for Japanese.
I do not know how can foreigners enjoy the "centrality" of the Station. I think the JTB Train Guide's depiction is plain wrong for practical usage: it is neither "central" or "representative" of the city or the prefecture. Which is more important, Urawa Station as a transport facility or its (incorrect, I say) depiction on a non-official publication? I believe that it should not be in the first paragraph. Please remember this is not the matter of rivalry between Urawa v. Ōmiya or say, their football clubs. Soredewa 04:00, 4 May 2007 (UTC)
