Talk:Terrasses du Larzac

Latest comment: 14 years ago by Tomas e

I think the section on late 21st century "history" cites a NYT article that is about a region other than the Terrasses du Larzac. In fact, some of the producers cited (Guibert and Grange des Peres) are producing wines that have nothing to do with the AOC Terrasses du Larzac. They include Cabernet Sauvignon as a major component of the wines, and these estates are relatively infamous for doing vin de pays. So even though I don't have the NYT article in front of me, I'm almost certain it's being a little stretched here, and this section belongs more to an article on Languedoc wine than on Terrasses du Larzac wine. --Mroconnell (talk) 07:34, 17 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

It's probably worth mentioning that the late 21st century hasn't happened yet either. :D --Mroconnell (talk) 07:35, 17 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
The more I think about this, the more I'm okay with it. I guess the article is on the geographic region of Terrasses du Larzac and not the AOC. Whatever. I'm glad I'm talking to myself on the discussion page instead of editing back and forth on the actual article :P --Mroconnell (talk) 07:40, 17 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
As you've probably seen, this article was the product of a "single-purpose" editor LaPeira (talk · contribs), who created this article and Mas Cal Demoura in November 2008, and hasn't shown any sign of activity since. Tomas e (talk) 13:43, 17 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
