Next time I'm near the RSAMD, I'll take a picture and then get it up. :) Josh LeeTALK 13:23, 3 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Great stuff! That would be great. :-) Lradrama 17:24, 17 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

"Noteable staff" entries

edit

There is a lot of red links it seems. Are these therefore really noteable? Shouldn't we just get rid of them, because they don't have their own articles and no further research can be thus undertaken on Wikipedia? Lradrama 09:06, 30 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Seeing as no-one has replied to this in almost a year, I'm going to go ahead and delete a lot of the names. I'm using the RSAMD's prospectus as a guide, as it has SHORT lists of alumni. Tpacw (talk) 08:01, 3 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Is it worth adding a link to the RSAMD's official flickr site? It has images of concerts and theatrical productions. http://www.flickr.com/photos/rsamdfriends —Preceding unsigned comment added by Tpacw (talkcontribs) 08:45, 4 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Restructure etc

Jeez what a dull article. I've tried to edit some of the history stuff to make it slightly less boring. Next to tackle is the ridiculous list of names. None of the other Scottish Tertiary Educational Establishments have lists of staff, and not such long lists of alumni. Tpacw (talk) 01:34, 3 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

I tried to add Grae Cleugh to notable alumni. He won an olivier award in 2002 for his debut play F*cking Games at the royal court Laurence Olivier Award for Most Promising Playwright. The edit was removed and the page protected by Primefac before I could add the unneccesary reference.

Could someone please undo removal of his name or re-add it. 81.147.111.139 (talk) 12:24, 12 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

Not until Cleugh is notable: the list of notable alumni includes only alumni who are notable, per Wikipedia standards, enough to have stand-alone articles. —C.Fred (talk) 12:34, 12 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
He might not have an article for legal reasons, perhaps because Wikipedia is an unreliable source.
Are you suggesting the principles John Wallace (composer), and Jeffrey Sharkey, are not notable and their names deleted because they do not have wikipedia articles.
Cleugh is notable by wikipedia standards not because he has an article but because he is the legal recipient of an Olivier award, that he won in his first year at RSAMD 81.147.111.139 (talk) 14:09, 12 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
Pretty sure the above is Kavex98162, so there's really not much point in continuing the conversation. Primefac (talk) 14:25, 12 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
Exactly what relevance does the contributor have to notability Primefac. 81.147.111.139 (talk) 14:39, 12 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
Nothing, but you have a funny way of completely ignoring anything that doesn't fit with your view of how things should go. Primefac (talk) 14:43, 12 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
